HOW IT WORKS

Recut isn't a resume builder that starts from a blank page: you start from your own resume.

1. Add your resume once: import a PDF or Word file, photograph a printed copy, or paste the text. You review and edit the text before anything else.

2. Paste the job posting, or a link to it when the page is public.

3. Run the ATS resume check for free: your match score and the keywords the posting asks for that your resume is missing.

4. Tailor: the AI resume tailor rewrites your experience bullets with the posting's wording and shows the score before and after.

5. Pick one of three clean templates and share the PDF, or copy the text for online application forms.

AI REWRITES THAT STAY TRUE TO YOUR RESUME

AI tools like to embellish. Recut Resume checks every rewritten bullet against your original before showing it:

• a rewrite that adds a number, a tool, an employer, a degree or a certification you didn't write is blocked, and your original bullet is kept;
• a rewrite that drops one of your numbers, borrows wording from the posting, or makes "helped with" sound like "led" is shown unchecked, so you decide;
• a missing keyword is never added for you. If you really have that skill, tap it and it goes into your Skills section.

AN ATS RESUME SCORE YOU CAN UNDERSTAND

Published formula: the posting's keywords in your resume (in your experience, not only in a skills list), standard sections, contact details, dates and readable bullets, plus the fixes worth the most points. Every employer uses its own applicant tracking system (ATS): no score can promise an interview.
